Ms Hildeanne Wefin who joined Bank South Pacific BSP in 2008 through the Graduate Development Program ended her career on high note to contest for Maprik Open seat in the forth coming National General Election. Last week BSP thanked and farewelled Ms Wefin for her 14 year journey with the bank.
“Today I officially ended my 14.2 years ( 14 years – two months) of formal employment with BSP bank, my only employer. It has been a remarkable journey since joining BSP on 18 February 2008 as a Graduate Trainee.” Said Ms Wefin
Ms Wefin worked with Corporate Banking, Paramount Banking, BSP Treasury and Credit until her retirement on Tuesday April 26.
“The exposure within the main Strategic Business Units – Corporate, Paramount Banking (Retail), Treasury and Risk is a wealth of knowledge to treasure.” She added.

Wefin said, having the big guns of BSP Financial Group Limited (BSPFGL ) in the likes of CEO Robin Fleming, GCRO Roger Hastie, outgoing Mike Hallinen and General Manager Corporate Peter Beswick with my full Team Credit Risk to send me off was indeed a pleasure.”
“I am confident that I ended my professional career on high note working thru till the eleventh hour. The final SME file approved was at 6:45pm on Tuesday 26 April for records and I’m hopeful that Maprik will get a full branch.” She said “I am very thankful for the connection, friendship, goodwill, professional networking, opportunities and acquaintances. I am full.”
Ms Wefin has officially announced her intention to contest Maprik Open seat in the coming 2022 National General Election under former Prime hi Minister Peter O’Neill’s People’s National Congress Party (PNC party).
